D.E.A.R. (Drop Everything And Read)!

Join us as we celebrate D.E.A.R. — “Drop Everything and Read,” a nationwide celebration inspired by author Beverly Cleary and her beloved Ramona books. D.E.A.R. encourages readers of all ages to make reading a priority and enjoy the simple pleasure of a good book.

When you arrive, choose a cozy spot, set a timer, and enjoy at least 30 minutes of uninterrupted reading. Bring a favorite book or pick one from our shelves. Timers will be provided, and readers who complete their session will receive a certificate and a bookmark to celebrate their reading achievement!
